Foyer & Dining Area
At the foyer, a thoughtfully planned shoe cabinet is paired with a bench and a large circular mirror above, forming a practical yet inviting corner for daily routines—offering a comfortable place to get ready before stepping out and a smooth transition upon returning home.
The dining area was initially defined by a bare wall, presenting an opportunity to introduce both function and character. A custom dining cabinet was proposed along this wall, paired with a suspended shelf framed in slim metal bars, creating a balanced composition that feels light yet purposeful. This thoughtful addition allows everyday items to be neatly stored while offering a dedicated space to display personal pieces—vases, books, and photographs—bringing a subtle sense of identity into the home, just as the client envisioned.
Living Area
A subtle division between the dining and living areas is naturally defined by an existing beam, which is gently softened with curved cornice detailing to create a more seamless and cohesive transition. This thoughtful treatment allows both spaces to feel connected, as if part of one continuous design language. The TV feature wall is designed as a full-height composition, complete with concealed compartments behind swing doors to neatly tuck away wiring.
A combination of woodgrain laminate for the base cabinet and a soft light beige back panel ties in effortlessly with the surrounding built-ins, creating a harmonious palette. Delicate groove lines introduce a gentle layer of detail to the design, adding character without overwhelming the space, while a discreet corner LED strip softly highlights the area above the TV cabinet. Natural light is welcomed through a full-height sliding door that opens to the balcony. Allowing the living area to feel bright and airy throughout the day, reducing the need for artificial lighting.
Kitchen
Upon entering the kitchen, a black architrave frames the space, subtly echoing the tone of the main door and metal bars to create a cohesive transition. At the opening, a dedicated coffee corner is thoughtfully introduced, offering a convenient spot for preparing and serving beverages— with its placement near the dining area, making it easily accessible without entering the kitchen fully. A hanging shelf is suspended with slim metal bars, mirroring the design language of the dining area. This detail creates a light, floating effect while maintaining visual continuity, adding both function and a refined touch to the space.
The kitchen presented a unique challenge with its irregular layout and slanted walls, requiring a thoughtful approach to ensure both function and visual harmony. Through thoughtful planning, the kitchen cabinet is seamlessly integrated, allowing the space to feel clean, cohesive, and effortlessly resolved. Full-height cabinetry in a soft light beige laminate is paired with a marble countertop and backsplash, creating a subtle yet elegant contrast that elevates the overall look. Integrated LED strip lighting gently illuminates the workspace, enhancing visibility while adding a warm layer of ambience to the kitchen.
With space in mind, the client desired a kitchen island that offered flexibility rather than permanence. In response, a movable island on wheels was introduced, complete with stoppers to keep it securely in place when needed. This allows the island to be easily repositioned, providing additional prep space while adapting effortlessly to the kitchen’s flow.
Designed with practicality at its core, the island also incorporates deep drawers, offering generous storage without adding visual clutter. This thoughtful solution enhances both functionality and versatility, making the kitchen feel more efficient and adaptable to everyday use.
Bedroom 2
This bedroom, designed as a guest retreat, presented a unique condition with beams of varying depths along the walls. Rather than working around them, the design embraces these elements, seamlessly integrating them into the built-in wardrobe for a clean and cohesive finish.
A full-height wardrobe in a soft light beige tone is paired with woodgrain melamine at the open shelving, introducing warmth and visual balance. The open shelves lighten the overall look within the compact space, while offering a place to display personal pieces. Slim black handles add a refined contrast, subtly elevating the wardrobe’s overall appearance.
Bedroom 3
Originally a work room, the space has been reimagined into a cozy and versatile setting that supports both productivity and daily utility. A full-height wardrobe anchors the room, thoughtfully designed with an open compartment for hanging freshly ironed clothes. The lower storage is dedicated to luggage, making it easy for the well-travelled clients to access and store their suitcases with ease.
Alongside, a set of three-tier shelves offers space for books and personal displays, adding a warm and lived-in character. Beneath it, a sofa bed is introduced to create a quiet corner for rest, allowing the room to transition effortlessly between work, storage, and moments of relaxation.
